We are excited to announce the SCAig 2023 Annual Workshop, “Growth & Change in the Special Collections & Archives Professions.”

This workshop is free for ALAO members and will take place on Wednesday, May 23rd from 2:00PM - 3:00PM EST virtually on Zoom. The event will consist of a one-hour panel.

A recording will be made available after the event for those unable to attend.

Joining us as presenters are:

• Kieran Robertson, Independent Historian; Data and Development Associate at Equality Ohio, presenting “Queer in the Archives”
• Eira Tansey, Memory Rising, Cincinnati, presenting “Ohio Archives and Climate Change”

SCAig's annual meeting provides an opportunity to gather people with an interest in special collections and archives to learn from changing and continuing practices. With a virtual synchronous event, we hope to reach a wide and diverse audience, and to provide an event that shows how we can support each other in library and archival work and maintain connections and collections in a time of upheaval.
