The ALAO Continuing Education Grant Program encourages library personnel to improve their skills and to develop new ones. The grant is awarded once a year to support the cost of participating in continuing education opportunities.

Eligibility: Applicants must be current members of ALAO.

Application Deadline: January 20, 2012 @ 5pm

Notification & Payment: The Professional Development Committee will notify grant recipients and will arrange payment through SWON, the ALAO fiscal agent.

Awards equal to or greater than $600 USD are subject to taxation and will be reported to the Internal Revenue Service.  Recipients of awards equal to or greater than $600 USD must provide their social security number to the Academic Library Association of Ohio (ALAO) fiscal agent prior to disbursement of award monies.
