The Academic Library Association of Ohio is pleased to announce that the 2015 Spring Support Staff Interest Group Workshop will take place on May 20, 2015 on the Lancaster campus of Ohio University.
The planning committee is currently accepting proposals for presentations that will meet the varied professional development needs of academic library support staff.
Proposals are welcome on all topics. Examples might be: managing student workers, participating in ALA's Support Staff Certification program, developing library outreach programs, building professional networks, surviving stress in the workplace, and working successfully with supervisors.
Presentations will last 50 minutes. Proposals should be 200-300 words in length. A brief bio of the presenter(s) should also be included. The SSIG Planning Committee will select from the proposals submitted. The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, January 24, 2015.
