E-Books in Ohio: What's a Librarian to Do?
will provide an opportunity for librarians to share their successes and challenges with ebooks and to discuss their questions and concerns. What ebook opportunities are on the horizon through OhioLINK? Learn about the OhioLINK-YBP ebook pilot project. When is it necessary to strike out alone with ebook collections? Have Ohio libraries had success with patron driven acquisition of ebooks?

During the morning we will have a panel presentation and discussion on the following topics:

We're going to devote the afternoon to an introduction of the eBook pilot. The pilot will be introduced by Julie Gammon and Karen Wilhoit followed by an OL-YBP presentation.
The day will end with a small-group questions and answer sessions.
