***ALL CONFERENCE EVENTS AND SESSIONS WILL TAKE PLACE ONLINE***

NOTE: Session proposals need not conform to the conference theme, but can cover any aspect of academic libraries and librarianship.

NOTE: If your proposal is accepted the Conference Planning Committee will be happy to advise on digital presentation strategies and options if needed.

General guidelines:
-Content, relevance, and overall appeal are key.
-Proposals should be concise, descriptive, and clearly written.
-Proposals should provide a clear indication of actionable takeaways
-Proposals are blind, peer-reviewed.
-Multiple submissions of presentation proposals are allowed; no more than two (either two presentations or one presentation and one poster) will be included in the final program.
-You will be contacted with additional information if your proposal is accepted.

Presentation Proposal Guidelines:

NOTE: PRESENTATIONS WILL BE PRE-RECORDED, WITH A SCHEDULED LIVE QUESTION AND ANSWER SESSION VIA ZOOM. The committee will be available to provide advice for recording your sessions.

-Recordings will be no more than 45 minutes total in length
-Include the following:
-Title: 50 word limit
-Abstract: 200 word limit
-Presenter Bio(s): 100 word limit
-Keywords to describe the content
-Learning Outcomes (what will attendees learn in the session)
-Exclude the name of your institution, department, and any personal names. If you include this identifying information, your proposal may not receive further consideration.

Poster Proposal Guidelines:

NOTE: POSTERS WILL BE ASYNCHRONOUS, ALLOWING FOR DISCUSSION VIA COMMENTS. A variety of formats will be accepted and further details will be available with acceptance emails.

-Include the following:
-Title: 50 word limit
-Abstract: 200 word limit
-Presenter Bio(s): 100 word limit
-Keywords to describe the content
-Learning Outcomes (what will attendees learn from the poster)
-Exclude the name of your institution, department, and any personal names. If you include this identifying information, your proposal may not receive further consideration.

NOTE: ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION SESSIONS WILL NOT BE OFFERED THIS YEAR.

Community Agreements
The conference planners seek to create a space for respectful dialogue and debate about critical issues. Upon registration, attendees will be asked to review and accept a list of community agreements. Conference planners will actively strive to create spaces in which multiple perspectives can be heard and no one voice dominates.
