- I. Introductions and announcements:
- There is a petition to hold ACRL in Columbus in 2008.
- II. Re-organizing SSIG

- Should it be called Issues and concerns or Outreach and service committee. What does the change mean? Is it necessary?
- To fulfill more of the goals
- Have been no major rewrites since 1993
- PPC or steering committee

- A motion was made by Doug to vote on new ALAO SSIG realignment proposal and as an addendum to proposal add :
- job descriptions compiled in 2002 and revised in 2005 by Gaynelle
- timeline compile by John Burke
- annual review of goals and objectives and other documents
- move awards from sec/chair elect to the past chair
- add draft numbers and dates to documents, when complete call them final with date
- Becca seconded the motion and it passed.
- III. Spring workshop
- Where will it be held?
- Judy contacted the Columbus College of Art and Design by e-mail and received no answer.
- Doug contacted the Shisler Center at ATI. It is our best option at this time.
- When will it be?
- Early May? Maybe the 12th with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Ideas were Charlie Fox of Library Mosaics from California, Mickey Burns from Cleveland, Jenifer Grady of ALA as keynote, Dorothy Morgan from NYSLAA - We need more suggestions for speakers, themes and programs.
Next meeting: Feb. 10th at 10:30 a.m. at the Shisler Center; meet at ATI in Wooster, we will go together
