For the afternoon portion of the workshop it was requested if KSU could do their student training program that was offered at the ALAO Annual Conference this past fall and also offer a networking/touring of library time as well. Mary asked if KSU presenters might be available to come for afternoon session at Southern State. Bob said that he would check into both possibilities.
Mary reported that Southern State South Campus Workshop registration is limited to 75.
Menu for the day there includes a meat choice, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, salad, and dessert.
III. ALAO Annual Conference Pre-Planning:
Theme for the Annual Conference is Thriving on Chaos, Leading Change. Deadline for proposals is February 16, 2001.
Mary mentioned that she had been invited to attend the next meeting of the ALAO Program Planning Committee and was asking for suggestions for sessions that would appeal to support staff for the Annual Conference.
It was announced that SSIG would not be doing a Pre-Conference for this coming year.
A business meeting for SSIG will be held at the Conference. Part of this meeting will include an ice breaking/networking activity.

An on-call meeting has been scheduled for Friday, March 2, 2001. Michael offered to host it at Methodist Theological Seminary in Delaware.
