ALAO 35th Annual Conference

When ALAO held its first conference thirty-five years ago, gasoline cost less than $1 per gallon. Alot has changed since then.

Anniversaries afford us the opportunity to re-evaluate old goals and the mechanisms for changing them, and to see how we can grow and change to adapt to new technologies, new pressures, and new ways of thinking.

On behalf of the entire 2009 Program Planning Committee, I invite you to attend our upcoming 35th Annual Conference: At the Crossroads: Recharging, Redefining, and Realigning Our Libraries, as we join together to share our knowledge of how we are continuing to provide library services in a world that has changed greatly over the past 35 years.
