Support Staff Presenters Grant
Overview
ALAO provides financial support to assist and encourage support staff members who wish to present at the ALAO Annual Conference. The fund is intended to be used to cover travel expenses, preparing materials for a presentation or poster session, and other related expenses. All grant applications will be considered by the Program Committee and more than one awardee may be chosen (depending on the funds requested and/or available). Only the presenters of presentations or poster sessions chosen for inclusion in the conference may apply for the grant.
Criteria for Selecting Recipients of the ALAO Support Staff Presenter Grants
- Presenter has submitted a valid and acceptable program proposal that pertains to the overall theme of this years annual conference.
- Presenter has submitted a Support Staff Presenter Grant Application including a description of how the funds will be used.
- Presenter must be a support staff member of an academic library.
- Grant recipients must provide written assurance of their attendance at the ALAO conference. Only family or professional emergencies will be accepted for not attending.
- Grant recipients must be a current member of ALAO or must become one by the date of the conference.
