Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of their interest to Ohio libraries and library staff, their potential to spark ideas for application in local settings, connection to the conference theme, originality, and clarity.

Presenters will be responsible for their own travel costs. All attendees and presenters MUST REGISTER. The fee will be waived for up to two (2) presenters per session, but please note: registration is still required. Conference registration includes lunch and the opportunity to attend other programs.

Presenters are expected to prepare their own materials and bring enough copies of handouts.

Presenters are responsible for supplying their own laptop computer and for knowing how to configure it to interface with an LCD projector. LCD projectors will be provided as needed. The online equipment request form (available in July 2006) is to be filled out by the main contact person for each presentation session. Deadline for equipment requests: TBA.

Presenters are encouraged to bring a back-up copy of their presentation in the event of a problem with the storage device (e.g. corrupt file, bad disc/diskette, lost disc/diskette, etc.) . Presenters also should consider bringing a copy of their presentation on overhead transparencies, in the event of a hardware failure. An overhead projector will be provided in each breakout room.
