Four Walls and Beyond:
Libraries in the New Millennium

26th Annual ALAO Conference, November 3, 2000
John C. Myers Convocation Center, Ashland University

Poster Session Guidelines

Each poster session presenter will be provided with a 6-foot table only. Presenters should bring all materials needed for their displays, including display boards and supplies such as tape, push pins, markers, etc. ALAO has a limited number of easels that may be borrowed for the event.

Provision of hand-outs is encouraged, as are business cards and sign-up sheets allowing people to request additional information. Presenters should make copies ahead of time.

Materials presented should be easily read at a distance of four feet. Lettering should be large enough (about 3/8" high) to be easily read. Simplicity and legibility are more important than artistic design, although effective visual design will enhance the display.

There will be no capability for electrical or electronic equipment such as computers or audio visual equipment.
